Mr. Taylor has also prosecuted consumer class cases against corporations such as U.S. Bank, Bank of America, and PalmOne, Inc., resulting in significant recoveries for consumers.

 

Previously, Mr. Taylor prosecuted and defended product liability and personal injury cases. He has held leadership roles on science and discovery committees in MDL-1657, Vioxx Products Liability Litigation, and MDL-1699, Bextra and Celebrex Products Liability Litigation. He has spoken at conferences held by the American Association for Justice and Mealey’s about general causation of Vioxx and Bextra related injuries.

 

Mr. Taylor has acted as lead attorney and in support roles in jury trials and arbitrations.

Mr. Taylor received his law degree from Loyola Law School, where he served on the International and Comparative Law Review.  He received his undergraduate degree from Loyola in Los Angeles. Prior to entering law, Mr. Taylor worked in the entertainment industry as an executive at Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation and as a screenwriter for major studios and independent production companies.

Mr. Taylor’s practice focuses on single plaintiff and class action employment claims. He has prosecuted cases involving race, gender, age and disability discrimination and harassment in state and federal forums. Mr. Taylor also specializes in Labor Code violations such as unpaid overtime and minimum wage and payment of wages with out of state checks.
