At the Law Offices of Joseph M. Lovretovich, our firm's lead attorney, Joseph M. Lovretovich, was first admitted in the state of California in December, 1976. A native of Los Angeles and a graduate of the University of Southern California and Southwestern University School of Law, Mr. Lovretovich has served the legal community of Southern California for more than 30 years.
Since the latter part of the 1990s, Mr. Lovretovich began to focus solely on the
practice areas of employment law and personal injury. He served as principal counsel
in the case of Colmenares v. Braemar Country Club, which expanded the definition
of disability in California; successfully resolved the case of Dee v. Vintage Petroleum,
which provided additional protections for victims of racial prejudice in the workplace;
and successfully resolved the case of O'Hare v. MBIA, which more clearly defined
the rights of employees in pre-
Mr. Lovretovich is a member of the State Bar of California, as well as the National Employment Lawyers Association, the California Employment Lawyers Association, the Los Angeles and Ventura County Bar Associations, and the Consumer Attorneys' Association of Los Angeles.
