Raised in upstate New York, Katy has spent her legal career representing individuals who have been injured by the unlawful acts of others. Katy is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and New England Law in Boston, Massachusetts. While at New England Law, she was repeatedly recognized for her academic excellence while earning the Dean’s Scholarship and a seat on the Dean’s List from 2009 to 2013. Katy also gained substantial legal experience as a law clerk for the Chief Justice of the Probate and Family Courts, an extern with the Volunteer Lawyer’s Project, and a clerk with the Law Offices of Gordon E. Feener.
After completing her legal education in 2013 and prior to joining JML Law, Katy moved to California where she worked as a trial lawyer focusing on litigating catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death matters at a firm in Century City, CA where she helped secure over $2 million for injured individuals.
When she is not at the office, Katy enjoys spending time on the trapeze, rooting for the New York Mets, and traveling with her husband.
