Rodney moved to Los Angeles over 25 years ago and worked from 16 years of age, but discovered his passion for employment law when a relative lost his job from unfair circumstances. Throughout law school, Rodney enrolled in courses relating to labor and employment law and researched the court system’s protections for employee rights.
Prior to law school, Rodney graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a Bachelor’s degree in History. Rodney earned his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School, where he received the Wildman/Schumacher Scholarship.
While at Southwestern Law School, Rodney worked at Southwestern’s Public Service Program at the Homelessness Prevention Project. After he graduated law school, Rodney chose to work for JML Law to pursue his legal and protect individuals from unfair employment practices. He was admitted to the State Bar of California and is licensed to practice before all California courts and before the United States District Court for the Central District.
Rodney is bilingual in English and Farsi. When not working at the office, Rodney likes to travel with his family and stay active by hiking, playing basketball, swimming and snowboarding.
