Shahla is an associate attorney in JML Law’s Employment Law Department, and speaks fluent Spanish.
Shahla graduated with magna cum laude honors and a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from California State University, Northridge.
Shahla earned her J.D. from Southwestern Law School. While in law school, Shahla received recognition for graduating in the top 10% of her class, was recognized on the Dean’s List, graduated with cum laude honors, and received a CALI award in California Civil Procedure. She served as member for the International Law Journal, received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship, the Wildman/Schumacher Scholarship and many others. While in law school, she was also a Teacher Assistant for many of her law school classes, including Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure. Shahla’s externship experience also includes serving as a law clerk for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office.
Prior to graduating law school and joining JML Law as an Associate Attorney, Shahla served as our summer law clerk on the Law & Motion Team, and transitioned to a Litigation Team where she now handles cases from inception to litigation.
When not working, Shahla enjoys running, yoga, and hiking.
